Halloween is right around the corner and Warren County Sheriff Martin Edwards is reminding residents to take extra precautions, as deputies will be out patrolling the county and taking additional steps to ensure community safety:
“I get very concerned about Little York and Roseville with state highways going through there. Know that those kids are going to be out from about dusk up until 8 pm. I will have patrols out there in those towns, all the surrounding communities, with some emphasis on the ones with the busier highways,” informs Sheriff Edwards.
“Also, check the sex offender registry. I run that list every year too. The child sex offenders are prohibited from participating at all. I run those lists and make sure a patrolman goes out and checks those houses to make sure that the porch lights are off and they are not participating. If you are, you are coming to jail, just like right now,” Sheriff Edwards adds.
