This Friday, October 30th, the 9th Annual Live2Lead returns to Galesburg for a day of leadership, growth, and connection. Five speakers will be a part of the ‘Climb Higher’ program, informs Kelly Poyner, who is a part of the Transformational Leadership Team and Vision Source in Galesburg:

“John Maxwell will kick us off and his is ‘Get Ready, Get Set, Grow.’ We have Dan Health, who researches things like why certain ideas take and why a specific moment can create meaningful change. Then he takes all of the research and put it into practical techniques we can use and he is going to talk about resetting this year,” says Poyner.

“Rory Vaden, who is the youngest speaker inducted into the Hall of Fame. He is actually going to challenge not just how we see time, but how we use time. Kathryn McLay, she is the former CEO and President of Walmart and Sam’s Club. Her goal this year is to talk about swimming the same way. One of my favorites this year is Stephanie Chung. She has a new book out called ‘Ally Leadership,’ Poyner adds.

The daylong Live2Lead event runs from 9 am to 3 pm on Friday at the Lake Storey Pavilion in Galesburg. Tickets can be purchased online at Live2LeadCi.com.
