Current Warren County Board member Court Hopkins is being challenged by Democratic candidate Jeff Rankin in next Tuesday’s General Election for the District 2 seat on the Warren County Board.
Both candidates joined the WRAM Morning Show yesterday to discuss their backgrounds, issues facing Warren County and why they believe voters should elect them to the County Board.
Republican Court Hopkins shares why voters should elect him to continue serving on the Warren County Board.
“I believe keeping small government accountable to the people it serves. I think I’ve worked to understand what is going on at the county level, and I’ve voted the right way for the people instead of just what everybody else is doing, and I want to protect that for the people. I don’t want to just be another yes vote. So I think I bring that to the table.”
Democratic candidate Jeff Rankin shares why voters should elect him to the Warren County Board.
“I just feel like my experience in communications all these years would bring an additional aspect to the County Board, trying to figure out ways to get the word out to the public in a clean and rapid way, so they can really understand the issues we’re facing.”
Early voting is underway ahead of the General Election on Tuesday, November 3.
