Auditions for Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella May 15 & 16

The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmark of originality, charm, and elegance.  Originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium. Production dates at Prairie Players Civic Theatre are July 17-26. Adults and children, 5th Grade and older are welcome to audition.

Auditions will be held at Prairie Players Civic Theatre, 160 South Seminary, on Friday, May 15, at 6:00 PM and Saturday, May 16, at 1:00 PM. Call backs will be held on Sunday, May 17, at 2:00 PM.  Auditions are open to students 5th grade and up. Please prepare a song of your choice for auditions. You will be asked to read a selection from the script and learn and perform a short dance sequence.
