On September 15, 2023, Church Women United of Monmouth and Vicinity will have a Love Tea at First United Methodist Church, 221 E. Broadway in Monmouth at 1:30 p.m. The purpose of the Love Tea celebration day is to show God’s love to all. The speaker will be Pastor Shelly Forrest, speaking on “All About Love”. Cookies, tea and coffee will be served. The church is handicap accessible. If you have questions, please call Anita Anderson 309-734-6338. The Love Tea is among four “celebration days” per year. The next one will be World Community Day, focusing on justice and peace in our global community and will be held November 3 at Monmouth First Lutheran Church ELCA.
