Church Women United of Monmouth and Vicinity will be meeting for the “World Day of Prayer” (WDP) celebration on March 3, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. at Kirkwood United Methodist Church, 235 S. Kellogg, Kirkwood, IL. This is open to ALL WOMEN of the area. WDP is a worldwide ecumenical celebration of Christian women of many traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer each year on the first Friday in March. Join in a service written this year by the women of Taiwan who call us to prayer with the words, “I Have Heard About Your Faith.” The theme is inspired by Ephesians 1:15-19. WDP was founded on the idea that prayer and action are inseparable in the service of God’s kingdom.
