Galesburg Public Library Book Sale May 1-3

Thousands of used books will fly off the tables and onto home shelves at the Friends of the Galesburg Public Library Book Sale, May 1 – 3, 2026 in the library’s Community Room, 264 West Main Street, Galesburg. The Friends Preview Sale, Friday, May 1, from 3 to 7 p.m. is an exclusive sale for members of Friends of the Galesburg Public Library. The general public sale is Saturday, May 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Anything remaining books can be purchased for $5 a bag on Sunday May 3, from 1 to 4 p.m. The Saturday sale and Sunday bag sale are free and open to the general public.
