May 3, 2019 – Church Women United of Monmouth and Vicinity will be sponsoring May Friendship Day and invite you to please attend the 9:00 a.m. breakfast celebration day at First Lutheran Church ELCA, 116 South “B” Street in Monmouth (no reservations needed). The theme, “The Time Is Now! Agree to Differ” (based on John 4:23a), centers on working together despite our differences to address poverty in our community. For further details, please call 309-734-2106. The scripture reading will be Ephesians 4:2-3 and there will also be a Fellowship of the Least Coin Offering taken. The FLC is an international movement that’s over 60 years old. It’s focus is prayer, and ecumenical action to support peace and reconciliation.
