May 3, 2019 – Church Women United of Monmouth and Vicinity will be sponsoring May Friendship Day and invite you to please attend the 9:00 a.m. breakfast celebration day at First Lutheran Church ELCA, 116 South “B” Street in Monmouth (no reservations needed). The theme, “The Time Is Now! Agree to Differ” (based on John 4:23a), centers on working together despite our differences to address poverty in our community. The FLC is an international movement that’s over 60 years old. It’s focus is prayer, and ecumenical action to support peace and reconciliation.
