World Day of Prayer

All women of Warren County are invited to Church Women United World Day of Prayer on Friday, May 1 at 1:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church (handicapped accessible), 221 East Broadway, Monmouth.  The country focus is Nigeria, with the theme, “I Will Give You Rest; Come”  Matthew 11:28-30.  Come and bring a friend.  CWU is a worldwide ecumenical movement of Christian women of many traditions who come together for an annual observance of common day prayer.  If you wish, you may “dress brightly”, as the day’s focused country people do.
