Monmouth College Professor Mike Connell will talk on bitcoin and the next step in money's evolutionary process. Event will be held at Meks on Main, 201 North Main Street in Monmouth. Tickets are $15.

5K run or walk with a 1-mile option. All proceeds benefit funding for the West Central Middle School PBIS program. 5 pm registration. 5:30 pm kiddie race. 6 pm start. $15 for students. $20 for adults.

Held at Courtyard Estates of Monmouth Dining Room, 1 Courtyard Boulevard. A variety of topics of Dementia with open discussions after each meeting will be conducted. Light snacks will be provided. All are invited to attend. Meetings will be held every 3rd Thursday of the month moving forward.

A record 145 entries are in this year's show. The 41st annual Security Savings Bank Amateur Photography Show will be on display at the Buchanan Center for the Arts until December 29th.
