The Galesburg Police Department, in cooperation with numerous civic and public service organizations, is proud to announce the 2021 "National Night Out" event at Standish Park on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Free hot dogs, beverages, and popsicles! Games, demonstrations, and more for the kids!

The Knox County Unified Command is hosting multiple vaccine clinics during the month of  August. The Health Department will be administering the two dose  Moderna vaccine to those 18 years of age and up and the one dose Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine to those 18 years of age and up at the clinic.

The Knox County Health Department is offering a Community Pop-Up Pfizer and Janssen COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Hi-Lo, 931 South Seminary St Galesburg, on Friday, August 6th from 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Individuals under the age of 18 are required to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Located in downtown Galesburg near the corner of Simmons and Seminary streets.

Hosted by the Knox County Right to Life. Enter at Colonial Baptist Church at 1232 West Fremont and exit onto Court Street. Items needed include: diapers, crib sheets, and mattresses. Monetary donations are welcome.

The Warren County History Museum, located at 238 Sunny Lane, presents Prairie in Your Palm. Event will feature live demonstrations and food samplings. Event is free and open to the public.

For ages 5 to 10 at the Knox County YMCA soccer complex. Camp will be led by Sandburg's soccer coach and current Charges athletes will assist. Cost is $35 and includes a t-shirt. Camp will be held August 7 and 8 from 1 to 3 both days. Call 309-345-3501 for more information.
