This series is free for kindergarten through 8th grade students. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 309-734-3033. Classes are held noon to 1 pm with lunch included. July 13th: Totem Sculptures. July 20th: Origami butterflies and frogs.

Strom Center's Annual Ice Cream Social will be held in Monmouth from 5 to 7 pm. The Monmouth Municipal Band will begin playing at 7pm. Tickets are $3.50 for adults and $2.50 for children 12 and under and includes ice cream, homemade cake or pie, and a drink. There will also be a 50/50 raffle.

Entry fee is $25. Race day entries will begin at 7:30 am at the Warren County Fairgrounds in Roseville. Pre-register by June 30th to be guaranteed a t-shirt. Race begins at 8 am. A kids run will also take place. Email warrencofair1928@gmail.com for more information or to register.

Join for old fashioned homemade ice cream, toppings, cake, cookies, and pie. Dine-in or carry-out available at the Gerlaw Christian Church, 948 245th Ave. Free will donation.

All are invited to come sing, play music, tell jokes, recite poetry, or try out any other type of performance in front of a crowd. Snacks and refreshments will be available while watching the performances. Walk-ins are welcomed, but advance signups will have first priority.

The Community Hygiene Pantry and FISH Food Pantry will be at Nature's Treatment parking lot in Galesburg to collect food and hygiene donations to help stock their shelves.
