AARP SMART DRIVER TWO DAY CLASS AT GALESBURG COTTAGE HOSPITAL

(Galesburg, IL) – Galesburg Cottage Hospital will sponsor a two day defensive driving course for seniors age 50 and over. The two day course will be held in the Cottage Conference Room 2 from 7:45 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 19th and Thursday, September 20th.

Participants must attend the two day session featuring a total of 8 hours of class time to receive a certificate. Drivers are encouraged to contact their insurance company to determine any discounts given over a 3 year period in reward for class enrollment. The course includes videos and discussion for safe driving.

A $15.00 fee for AARP members and a $20.00 fee for non-members will be collected at the class. AARP members must bring their AARP membership card with them to the class and all attendees must bring a valid Illinois Driver’s License.
