West Central Heat Football Looking to Bounce Back From First Loss in Program History

Share

The West Central Heat won all five of its scheduled games in the spring, which was the first season of 8-man football in school history. The Heat ran off three more victories in its first three games this fall. The squad has ran into a rash of injuries that past few weeks, losing half of its starters on each side of the ball. The winning streak came to an end in week four, as the injury bug finally caught up with the Heat. West Central lost to the Amboy/LaMoille/Ohio co-op 60-14. Heat head coach Jason Kirby joined the WRAM Morning Show on his Wednesday morning spot to talk about what happened and how he thinks the team will respond moving forward.
