Two Arrested in Monmouth for Attempted Murder

After an investigation conducted by the Monmouth Police Department of a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 3:34am this morning near 522 E. Broadway in Monmouth, Cayden Bell 19 and Nathan Perez 18 were taken into custody by the Monmouth Police Department.  Both Bell and Perez are being charged with Attempted Murder and are being held at the Warren County Jail.  The victim of this incident Brock Noles 21, did have two gunshot wounds in his leg and was treated at OSF Holy Family Medical Center.  The Monmouth Police Department is still conducting further investigation of this incident.  Both Bell and Perez are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Both are awaiting court appearances and any questions about this case can be directed to the Warren County State’s Attorneys office.
