Richard E. Bruch, 95, of Hays, KS, formerly of Monmouth, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at the Hays Medical Center, Hays, KS

He was born December 25, 1927 in Pleasant Township, Warren County, IL, the son of Herman G. and Beulah (Poland) Bruch.  He was raised and educated in Roseville and graduated from Roseville High School in 1945.

Richard married Marilyn E Watson at the First United Methodist Church of Monmouth on August 15, 1992 and she preceded him in death on July 10, 2018.

Richard was a District Sales Manager for DeKalb Seed for 32 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Monmouth.

Survivors include his daughter, Cheryl L. (David) Morgan of Hays, KS; his grandchildren, Nick (Jessica) Morgan of Hays, KS; Andrew (Mya) Morgan of Hays, KS; Kaitlin (Uriah) Williams of Kansa City, MO; ten great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Memorial services with Military Honors will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 16, 2023 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park, Monmouth, at a later date.  Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church of Monmouth.  For more information or to leave an online condolence please visit, www.mcguireanddaviesfuneralhome.com.
