Amy Kathleen Rogers, 50, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away 12:50 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2023 at the Monmouth Nursing Home.

Amy was born December 26, 1972 in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Larry and Jane (Huiskamp) Langford. On August 26, 2000 she married Andrew Rogers at the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Nauvoo.

Survivors include her husband: Andy; two sons: Derek Rogers of Irvin, California and Garrett Rogers of Monmouth; her mother: Jane Langford of Keokuk, Iowa, one brother: Tim (Kim Monk) Langford of Lillian, Alabama; three nieces: Audria, Julia, Mallory and Kyler and four nephews: Riley, Kason, Darren and Dillon.

She was preceded in death by one sister: Melissa “Missy” Langford.

Amy attended Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School in Nauvoo and was a 1991 graduate of Nauvoo-Colusa High School. She also attended the Savannah School of Art & Design; as well as Southeast Community College in West Burlington.

Amy was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Monmouth. She enjoyed volunteering at the Immaculate Conception Catholic School and the Buchanan Center For the Arts both in Monmouth.

Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 26th at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Nauvoo. Burial will follow at the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Nauvoo.

Schmitz-Banks & Beals Funeral Home of Nauvoo and Turnbull Funeral Home of Monmouth is assisting the family.
