Monmouth Little Lion’s Baseball Player Evaluations This Weekend

Share

The Monmouth Little Lion’s Baseball will have player evaluations this Saturday, April 15th and Sunday, April 16th at Simulation Sports in Monmouth for boys and girls ages 8 to 12. Players are asked to bring their glove and a bat and helmet if they have their own, otherwise equipment will be provided. Registration can be done online by visiting the Monmouth Little Lion’s Baseball Facebook page or on an evaluation day, where all players will be placed on a team, shares Noon Lion’s Club Member Dan Doyle:

“It will be this Saturday and Sunday. We would like the 8 and 9 year olds to come at 1:00 and the 10, 11, ans 12 year olds to come at 2:30. This is going to be held indoors at Simulation Sports on 400 South Main. This is a player evaluation because everybody that comes, will be assigned a team, this is not a tryout. We divide the age groups that they 8 and 9 year olds play together, we split the 10 year olds, some play with the 8 and 9 year olds and some play with the 11 and 12 year olds, just depends how our numbers work out.”

Players only need to attend one of their designated evaluation times for their specified age group on either Saturday or Sunday. All games will be played at Harmon Park in Monmouth with the season to begin in mid-May.
