Mark R. Wolf, 64, of Washington, Il passed away at 8:05 pm. Monday, May 1, 2023 at Carle-Unity Point Health Center, Peoria, IL.

Mark was born May 23, 1958 in Peoria, IL the son of James Rodney “Rod” and Amy L. (Birdsell) Wolf.  He was raised and educated in Washington, IL, graduating from Washington High School. During his Junior year in high school Mark was an AFS Exchange Program student living with the Leon Miranda family in Antofagasta, Chile.  In three and a half years he graduated with Honors from Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL majoring in International Business.  He was a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity.

Prior to his early retirement he was employed by Unisys Corporation where he designed computer software systems for the banking industry.  His main hobby was travel.  He traveled extensively including visits to most of the U.S. as well as trips to Canada (many times on fishing trips with his grandparents), England and Germany, several times, the Netherlands and France, several times. 

He is survived by his parents, brother, Scot (Carrie) Wolf of Peoria, IL; his niece, Carly (Chad) Scott and a special great nephew and buddy, Luca Wolf Scott all of Washington, IL.

A private family interment will take place at Center Grove Cemetery, Kirkwood, IL.  Memorials may be given to the Washington District Library, Washington, IL or the Cardiac Department at Carle-Unity Point and sent to the funeral home.
