Monmouth Fire Department Conducted Mock Crash Scenario to Local High Schoolers

Share

Last Friday the Monmouth Fire Department teamed up with Monmouth-Roseville High School to conduct a mock crash scenario to teach students about the possible consequences of driving under the influence and distracted driving. After years of postponing the event due to COVID restrictions and weather we’re very happy that we finally made it happen. As we close out another school year and have so many celebrations happening, please take a moment to talk to your kids about these things and how important it is to make good decisions before getting behind the wheel. Thank you to all the agencies who helped to make this happen including the Monmouth Police Department, Galesburg Hospital Ambulance Service, Warren County Coroner, Warren County States Attorney, Bergs Towing, OSF Life Flight, all of the actors, and Jana Cozadd for the awesome pictures. We hope everyone has a safe and happy prom/graduation season!
