Are Your Yearly Preventative Screenings Scheduled?

Share

OSF St. Mary Medical Center Radiology Supervisor Jennifer Eldridge reminds individuals that preventative screenings are very important for one’s health:

“Preventative screenings are super important. We really feel like they are the key. They help detect potential health problems before they become more serious or symptomatic. Often times things go underlying and you don’t even notice that things are going on until you become symptomatic. The screenings aim to identify conditions at that early stage, allowing for timely intervention and treatment.”

Eldridge encourages talking with your primary care provider to find out which screenings you should be undergoing at your age.
