Patricia C. Taylor, 73, of Little York, IL, passed away at 6:52 pm on Friday, October 27, 2023 at her home.

She was born on August 28, 1950 in Avon, IL the daughter of Evertte and Lucile (Wells) Taylor.  She was raised and educated in Monmouth.

She worked at Dekalb Seed for many years, KFC, Hardees, Walmart and Taco Bell.  She also worked as a nurse’s aide at the Marigold Rehabilitation Center in Galesburg.

Pat enjoyed reading, playing bingo, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and her best friend, Joan Anderson.

Pat is survived by her daughters, Chris (Ed) Inman of Monmouth and Sandy Boughton; 5 grandchildren, Tiffany (Boyd) Shaw of Keithsburg, IL, Josh (Brittany) Strong of Little York, Johnathon (Delaney Vanskike) McIntosh of Monmouth, Thomas Whitburn of Monmouth and Brittany Pfieff; 4 great-grandchildren, Emma Shaw, Brendan Shaw, Ryder Shaw and Lauryn Strong; her brother, Bud (Beverly) Taylor of Monmouth; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Barry Pfieff, 1 sister, Ruby Inman and 2 brothers, Ronnie Taylor and Sonny Taylor.

Cremation has been accorded.  No services are planned at this time. Memorials may be given to the Patricia Taylor Memorial Fund and sent to the funeral home.
