Presented in a classroom setting by Ken Cole of Macomb, the Driver Safety Course consists of instructor guidance, a video, and discussion of driving concerns. Participants will also learn tips on how to avoid driving hazards. There is no driving involved and no tests are given.

A 30-minute break for lunch will take place from 12:30-1 p.m. and participants may bring their own lunch or visit the MDH Cafeteria or Café 525.

Participants should contact their auto insurance agent regarding the amount of a discount.

The course is $20 for AARP members with a valid membership card, and $25 for nonmembers, cash or check made payable to AARP the day of the course. Pre-registration is required and seating is limited. Register today by calling the MDH Public Relations office at (309) 836-1557 or emailing publicrelations@mdh.org.
