Illinois Extension Offers Webinar To Help Improve Social Connections

The 2023 Lessons for Living Webinar series is underway through the University of Illinois Extension. Tessa Hobbs-Curley, Extension Family Life Educator says during the November 9th webinar, they will be discussing social isolation with their presentation titled Don’t Go It Alone; Improving Your Social Connections.

“Some studies even show that more than 20 percent of adults in the United States identify themselves as lonely, isolated, or both,” said Hobbs-Curley. “This webinar will really explore the various consequences of isolation or loneliness as well as strategies for staying connected with others.”
