At the recent Monmouth City Council meeting, a presentation was made to reinstate the Farmer’s Market in Downtown Monmouth, informs Mayor Rod Davies:
“That was from Craig Vivian and Craig Watson, two Monmouth College professors who are very much engaged in their community garden and also their collegiate farm that they have. They are wanting to get started with the Farmer’s Market on Friday nights from 5 to 7 pm in the quadrant by Kellogg Printing. Council discussed that with them and did allow them to start the work in getting that ready and hosting those events on the Public Square on Friday nights.”
The Farmer’s Market in Downtown Monmouth is anticipated to begin in June.
