Robert W. “Robin” Faull, Jr., 82, of Knoxville, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Robin was born on March 22, 1941, in Madison, Wisconsin. He was the son of Robert W. and Ruth (Hyde) Faull, Sr. He married Janet Rader August 13, 1965. He later married Mary Annette DeMoss on September 14, 1991 in Kewanee. Together they celebrated 32 years of marriage. Surviving Robin are his loving wife Mary Annette of Knoxville; his sons, Adam Robin Faull of Galesburg and Scott Robert (Tresha) Faull of Knoxville; his stepchildren, Jeffrey Justin (Michelle) Standard of Punta Gorda, FL, Jeremy Andrew Schneider of St. Augustine, FL and Ginger Jayleen (Nicholas) Hundgen of Champaign, IL; grandchildren, Caleb Robin (Rosie) Faull, Alison Faull, Harley Faull, Haley (Matt) Kaser, Tyler (Danielle Rossell) Faull, Henry Nicholas Ferraz and Walter Alan Ferraz; great grandchildren, Selina Smith, Atticus Smith, Aria Faull, Jordan Faull and Jaxon Kaiser; and sister, Pamela (Paul) Wise of Latrobe, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Janet.

Robin was a veteran of the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany. He held Ordained Ministerial Standing in the United Church of Christ – January, 1996 and the Episcopal Church – June, 1987. He was a graduate of Wethersfield High School. He received his Bachelors of Arts Degree in 1984 at Western Illinois University. Robin then went on to complete two years of Academic Work at Nashota House in Wisconsin. He was an owner/operator of Faull Transfer (an Allied Van Lines Franchise) of Galesburg and Kewanee for many years. Robin was a devoted friend of Bill W. for 37 years. He was an addiction counselor at Proctor and Bridgeway, where he also served as a mental health advocate. He was a school bus driver for Knoxville District # 202. Robin was a lifetime member of AMVETS Post 8, the Harry Philblad American Legion Post #749, a Master Scuba Diver in the PADI Diving Society, a member of Kiwanis Clubs of Galesburg and Kewanee, and a volunteer fireman for the Wataga Fire Department. He was a regular blood donor to the American Red Cross and the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center. He enjoyed his dogs, football, boating, camping, and riding motorcycles.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be held on March 23, 2024. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes and Crematory are assisting the family with arrangements.  Memorials may be made to the Knox County Humane Society or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
