Ruth Anne Brock, age 77, of Stronghurst, Illinois, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024 at Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House in West Burlington, Iowa.  She was born September 21, 1946 in LaHarpe, Illinois, the daughter of Lloyd and Ruth Heald Fox.

Ruth Anne was a graduate of Stronghurst High School.  She worked in sales for KCMO radio station in Kansas City, MO, the Phillip Morris Company, and at various retail stores.  She was a member of the Stronghurst United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son: Scott Fox of Kansas City, MO, and one brother: Larry (Darlene) Fox of Stronghurst.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

As per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.  A graveside service in the Stronghurst Cemetery, followed by a Celebration Of Life service,  will be announced at a later date.  A memorial fund has been established for Oakwood Estates Assisted Living Center in Stronghurst.  Banks & Beals Funeral Home of Stronghurst is assisting the family with arrangements.  Memorials may be sent Banks & Beals Funeral Home, P.O.
