Cubs Open Regular Season Against Rangers

The 2024 MLB season is finally here. The Chicago Cubs visit the world champion Texas Rangers for Opening Day at Globe Life Field tonight. The Northsiders are looking to build off a strong season last year. Chicago was second place in the NL Central with an 83-and-79 record. The Cubs fired manager David Ross during the offseason and replaced him with former Brewers skipper Craig Counsell. Justin Steele takes the mound for Chicago, while Nathan Eovaldi goes for Texas. First pitch is at 6:35PM.
