Judy K. Carlson, 69, of Monmouth, IL, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg, IL.
Judy was born May 15, 1954 in Monmouth, IL, the daughter of Gerald and Edna (Phelps) Carlson. She was raised and educated in Warren County, graduating from Warren High School in 1972 and later Western Illinois University.
Judy worked for the United State Post Office serving as Postmaster at the Gladstone Post Office. Growing up on the family farm, Judy always enjoyed family gatherings and the memories made. She dedicated much of her life to her sister, Nancy, a resident of Plonka Terrace in Galesburg. In her free time, Judy was an avid music lover and played several instruments. She enjoyed traveling to Ft. Myers, FL in her motorhome and caring for her dogs. Judy was a devout Christian a member of Fairview Center United Methodist Church.
Surviving Judy is her sister, Nancy Carlson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Lenox-Union Cemetery, Warren County, IL.
