Pere Marquette Developers Sentenced To Prison

A pair of developers for the Pere Marquette Hotel in Peoria are going to prison.  Gary Matthews was sentenced to three years and four months, and ordered to pay more than eight-million-dollars in restitution, while Monte Brannan received two-years and was ordered to pay nearly five-million-dollars in restitution.  Both were found guilty of orchestrating a scheme to defraud their investors, the City of Peoria, Core Construction, and other lenders and creditors.
