A record number of U.S. cities now have million-dollar homes. A new analysis by Zillow shows 550 places where a typical home is worth than a million dollars. That beats the previous record of 522 cities when home values peaked in 2022. Zillow’s chief economist says this year’s gain reflects high demand and tight supply in the housing market. California, New York, New Jersey, Florida and Massachusetts top the 2024 list with the most million-dollar cities.
