Jeffrey Wayne Newcomb, 63, of Galesburg, Illinois died at 5:53 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2024 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg.

Jeff was born June 11, 1960 in Benton, Illinois, the son of Evelyn Marie (Sneed) and Ronald Dean Newcomb. He married Beverly Lynn Hays on November 2, 1990 in Winnington, Illinois. She preceded him in death on December 11, 2020.

Jeff is survived by one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Longcor of Galesburg; five grandchildren; two brothers, Brian and Steven; and one sister, Rhonda (Mark). Along with his wife and parents, Jeff was preceded in death by one son, Dakota.

Jeff had a strong faith in God and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Galesburg. He enjoyed playing the guitar and watching television, especially Pawn Stars.

Cremation has been accorded. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Harmony Baptist Church, with Pastor Chris Nissley officiating.
