Nancy M. Burns

Nancy M. Burns, 82, of Galesburg, died at 3:24 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024, in the Knox County Nursing Home.

She was born September 12, 1941, the daughter of Clarence and Evelyn (Guiter) Anderson, at home in Cedar Township. She married Richard L. “Dick” Rammage on April 21, 1961, in Abingdon. He preceded her in death in 1979. She later married Donald A. Burns on August 21, 1982, in Altona. He preceded her in death on August 24, 2014, after 32 years of marriage.

She is survived by a son, Chris (Amy) Rammage; a daughter, Wanda Beth (Hank) McLearn; grandchildren; siblings; nieces; and nephews.

Nancy was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting.

Cremation will be accorded at Nancy’s request. Her remains will be buried privately, with Don, in the Oneida Cemetery. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral and Cremation Service of Galesburg is honored to serve the family. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
