Rex E. McIntosh, 62, of Monmouth, IL passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Rex was born August 24, 1961 in Monmouth, IL the son of Gene L. and Mary (Scott) McIntosh. He was raised and educated in Warren County, graduating from Warren High School with the class of 1980.

Rex farmed his entire adult life, retiring in 2020.

He enjoyed deer hunting and was a backyard mechanic.

Survivors include his four sisters, Diana L. Mackey of Media, IL; Twilia Sexton of Muldrow, OK, Shirley (Terry) Fluke of Avon and Kathleen (Bobby) Stotler of Monmouth; two brothers, Roy L. McIntosh of Avon, IL, and Brian McIntosh of Monmouth; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Gary McIntosh and several other family members.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, June 15, 2024 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL. Interment will be at Warren County Memorial Park, Monmouth. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 Saturday morning at the funeral home.
