New Girl Scout Program Prepares the Next Generation of Kindergarteners

Share

Starting kindergarten is a big step, and you want your daughter to feel as comfortable and confident as possible from day one! Let Girl Scouts stand with you to support and inspire her as she makes new friends, meets new teachers, and tests out new ideas.

At the event, girls will play a  Show and Tell game to get to know each other, get active, practice following instructions, and practice social skills. They will make dream boards to explore their emotions, set goals, and learn how being persistent can help them achieve their dreams. They will also play Animal Charades to practice their approach to learning through using creativity and imagination, as well as to show interest and ask questions about observations.
