The anticipated completion of construction on West Harlem Avenue in Monmouth draws closer, according to Mayor Rod Davies:

“They have the south side of the road pretty much done, they are working on tying in the streets and driveways and getting the sidewalk poured all the way down. It looks like they have a pretty good base done on the north side. They are telling us, from our last construction meeting, that in the first week or so of July that it should be at least open; it might not be 100 percent finished, but at least open to be able to move. They will have the sidewalk to do on the north side as well,” says Mayor Davies.

“We are getting there. We don’t have a lot to tie in on the north side like we did the south side with all the streets and a lot of driveways. We feel it should be going along,” Mayor Davies adds.

Of the 110 working days contracted for the West Harlem Avenue project, 42 days are remaining.
