Donna L. Richardson, 83, of Galesburg, died at 3:15 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025, in the Monmouth Nursing Home.

She was born November 22, 1941, in Abingdon, the daughter of Irvin and Opal (Sissel) Quinn. She married Robert L. Richardson on September 21, 1963, in Galesburg. They later divorced.

She is survived by three stepdaughters, Cheryl Ronald, Sandra Rena, and Shelly (Robin) Shurtz; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a stepson, Robert Richardson; three brothers; and three sisters.

Donna was a cook and waitress in food service her entire working life. She had worked at the Friendly Café, Knox County Nursing Home, Burger King, and Diamond Daves. She attended Galesburg schools. She had lived in Michigan for 19 years before returning in 1982. Donna was a member of Star of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church and the VFW Auxiliary.

Cremation has been accorded. Her remains will be buried with her folks at the Abingdon Cemetery. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral and Cremation Services is honored to serve the family. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.h-p-w.com.
