Every spring, the Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau hosts a 3rd Grade Ag Day. A day to educate area youth on different agriculture topics and products, shares Manager Ashlyn Quinn:

“That is kind of the first in the series, they go through a 3rd Grade Ag Day, a 4th Grade Ag Day, and then our 5th Grade Farm Safety Day. We try and build on topics and lessons as much as we can in each year. This is the first year where they get the into to multiple different topics. We host that at the First United Methodist Church. We cover bees and pollinators, we do a drone topic since technology is getting bigger in ag; corn, beef, poultry, soybeans, pork, and conservation.”

The Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau’s 4th Grade Ag Day is held in the fall during Prime Beef Festival week, with 5th Grade Farm Safety Day also being held in the fall at the Henderson County Fairgrounds.
