Monmouth-Roseville and United School Boards to seat new and returning members

The Monmouth-Roseville Community Unit School District 238 consists of seven members serving four-year terms. Four seats were up for election in Tuesdays consolidated election. Three incumbents Kira Schumm, P.J. Brooks and Amy Gaule were all re-elected and will be joined by Amy Rogers, who won a seat on the Monmouth-Roseville school board taking the open seat after Joe Bratcher announced he was not running for re-election. Amy Rogers was the highest vote getter with over 26 percent of the vote. Yulissa Sparks also ran for a seat on the board but was not elected.

The United Community Unit School District 304 consists of seven members serving four-year terms. They also had four seats up for election in Tuesdays consolidated election. Three incumbents ran and Tina Guild did not seek re-election. The winners in Tuesdays election in un-official results for the United School District were Incumbent Hank Shimmin , Josh Oaks, Holly Tharp and Incumbent Jill Jenks. Three other candidates were on the ballot; Danny Toops, Katrina Kessler and Chris Menge.
