It is Prime Beef Festival Week in Warren County. The annual parade down Broadway in Monmouth will be this Wednesday, September 9th. Police Chief Joe Switzer reminds motorists of the route that will be blocked off for the safety of the parade:
“From D Street on West Broadway, clear out to 11th, Boston, and East 1st in that area, the entire parade route will be blocked off to allow the parade to happen without worrying about traffic trying to cut through the parade. Everybody please plan on that and you may have to go around to get from point a to point b. Once the parade starts, the officers will block the intersections off, and they will not allow vehicle traffic in that intersection. Please plan according and plan ahead.”
The annual Warren County Prime Beef Festival Parade begins at 5 pm.
