United Red Storm Baseball is on roll, with their wins against Monmouth-Roseville and Ridgewood they have won 11 of their last 12 games, bringing their total to a program record 23 victories. That surpasses the previous record of 21 wins set in 2022 and equaled in 2024, with several games remaining in the regular season. The Red Storm will host Knoxville for their final two Lincoln Trail Conference games on Saturday. A sweep of the Blue Bullets will give the Red Storm their 5th straight LTC West Division title and their first outright title since 2021. A split of the double header means United will share the West Division championship with Bureau Valley, who United swept last week in a double header in Manlius. United Baseball Head Coach, Ryan Molek, tells us what his pregame message will be on Saturday.
The regional bracket that United will participate in has been announced. United will play the winner of West Prairie and Bushnell Prairie City on May 21 in Stronghurst in a class 1A regional semifinal.
