Doug W. Miller, 88, of Cameron, IL, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Seminary Manor, Galesburg, IL.   

He was born March 28, 1937 in Richmond, KY the son of Roy and Laura (Kelley) Miller. 

Doug married Beverly Vlahovich on July 2, 1966 in Las Vegas, NV and she preceded him in death on July 30, 2022.

Doug and Beverly lived in California from 1965-1980 and moved to Cameron in 1980.

Doug was a sales representative for Borden Chemical for 30 years before retiring in 1998.  He later worked security at Maytag in Galesburg for 7 years.

He was a member of the Coldbrook Christian Church and the Elks Club.  He enjoyed golfing and fishing.

Survivors include his son, Derek W. (Becky) Miller of Galesburg, IL; two grandchildren, Kylie McDonald and Tyler McDonald; and sister, Joyce Curran of Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two sisters, Evelyn Apwich and Betty Martin.

A private family committal of ashes will be at Warren County Memorial Park, Monmouth, IL.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, is in charge of the arrangements.  To leave an online condolence please visit, www.mcguireanddaviesfuneralhome.com.
