Kenneth B. Cooper, 50, of Abingdon, died at 4:34 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2025, in OSF St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born June 22, 1975, in Galesburg, the son of James W. and Gloria Rae (Sweet) Cooper.

He is survived by four children, Nora (Steven) Mann, Mariah Harrison, Cailey Cooper, and Colton Cooper; five granddaughters; two grandsons; brothers, Michael (Eve) Cooper and James (Heather) Cooper; sisters, Crystal Cooper and Connie Dowd; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Debra Cartee.

Kenneth will be remembered as a hard worker. He worked with a tree service for many years. For the past 16 years, he had worked in maintenance at Hidden Hills Vineyard and Winery. He graduated from Abingdon High School. While Kenneth enjoyed fishing, his favorite times were spent with his family, children, and grandchildren.

Cremation will be accorded. No visitation or service is planned. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral and Cremation Services of Abingdon is honored to serve the family. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.h-p-w.com.
