Mr. Lloyd W. “Bud” Stream, 91, of Galesburg, Illinois, died at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on February 26, 1934, in Taylor County, Iowa to Willis and Dorothy (Eckler) Stream. He married Beverly Sundell. He later married Shirley Heller on April 24, 1985, in Port Byron.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Shirley Stream of Galesburg, three sons, Daniel (Teri Jo) Stream of Chariton, Iowa, Bill (Laurie) Heller of Geneseo, Illinois, and Ron Heller of Mineral, Illinois, four daughters, Becky (Mark) Barrans and Barbara Curtis, both of Lenox, Iowa, Ann (Jack) Warkins of Princeton, Illinois, and Janet Hutchins of Ohio, Illinois; 27 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; a brother, Howard “Skip” (Jannie) Stream of Harvest, Alabama; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Stream. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, David Stream; a grandson, Brian Fuller; a son-in-law, Stan Curtis; a brother, Harold Stream; a sister, Helen Nelson; and a brother-in-law, Dale Nelson.

Bud graduated from Van Wert High School in 1952. He was a truck driver for his working career, having worked for Munson Trucking and then drove for Tennant. He was of the Christian faith. He was born and raised in Taylor County and lived in Lenox until 1975. He lived in Geneseo for four years, Atkinson for nine years, and has been in Galesburg since 1988.

Bud was an avid reader, reading the Farmer’s Almanac regularly. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles, bird watching, and camping. Family was of the upmost importance to Bud, and he loved spending time with them.

Cremation will be accorded. No visitation or service is planned at this time. His remains will be buried at a later date in Mosher Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lenox Care Center in Lenox, Iowa. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral and Cremation Services of Galesburg is honored to serve the family.
