Ms. Lorri D. Price, 66, of Galesburg, Illinois passed away at 7:50 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, Peoria, Illinois. 

She was born on March 13, 1959, in Galesburg to William and Vernita (Haywood) Price. 

Surviving is a son, James (and Vanessa) Johnston of Washington, Illinois, a daughter, Carrie (and Seth) Purtell of Peoria Heights, Illinois, a brother, Bill Price of Galesburg, and three grandchildren, Zoie Purtell, Maddox Johnston, and Zane Johnston.  She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Lorri graduated from Galesburg High School in 1977.  She worked in the administrative office of Bridgeway in Galesburg for several years.  She retired in 2023.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church when she was younger. 

Cremation will be accorded.  A celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the family to set up an education fund for her grandchildren.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be shared at www.h-p-w.com
