Fair week wraps up at the McDonough County Fair with the Junior Cattle Show, with exhibitors showing in heifer and steer shows. The Judge of the Junior Cattle Show was Preston Rhode from Carlock, Illinois.

“I thought there were five heifers, any one of them could have won for breed, for breed. I think they will continually be competitive at the State Fair,” says Rhode. “I thought the steers for a county fair level were really high quality. There are three of those steers. I thought were really neat.”
