Although another Summer Reading Program at the Warren County Public Library has come to a close, the family events keep going in September, with Homeschool Fridays, play groups, and more, shares Youth Services Librarian Mindy Newberry:

“We will start back on September 13th with Story Time at 10 am every Saturday. We also start back in September with Homeschool Fridays on the first Friday of every month at ten o’clock in our Craft Room with great programmers such as Ag in the Classroom, OSF, we will have Girl Scouts, the University of Illinois Extension 4-H, and the Stewart House; wonderful, great programs to come and extend some great learning possibilities for your homeschoolers. Also, added to that, we are hosting a play group for zero to five. It will also meet on the first Friday of each month in our Story Room. Then once again, the Regional Office of Education will be back on the second Thursday of every month at 10 am for their play group for zero to three.”
