Changes are coming to the Big River Resources facility located in Monmouth on Sunny Lane. Big River Resources CEO David Zimerman shares that the site is currently expanding its storage capacity.

“We are putting up an additional three million bushels of storage at that site in the form of another one of those hoop buildings. We already have a two-million-bushel hoop on site, so the crews are working really hard over there,” shares Zimmerman. “It’s going to be, it’s going to be a really nice building when it’s done. It’s going to have a nice unload conveyor beneath it, an overhead bin, and in a pit right in front of it.”

Construction on this expansion is expected to conclude on October 1.
