Jessika J. Dell, 20, of Alexis, IL passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL following a long and courageous fight against ALS.

Jessika was born July 22, 2005, in Silvis, IL the daughter of Patrick J.  and Amy Jo (Cox) Dell.  She was raised and educated in Alexis, graduating from United High School in 2024.

She was a member of the Norwood Presbyterian Church, Alexis, IL.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends and listening to music.  Prior to her diagnosis, Jessika enjoyed playing volleyball at United Jr. High School.  She had aspirations of becoming a nurse like her sister and learning how to drive. She loved being “Auntie Jessie” to her nephew S.J.

Jessika was a giver and helper at heart.  Her final gifts included donations to Wigs for Kids and Gift of Hope, giving her Heart and Kidneys to others so that they may continue live and in turn, she lives on.

Survivors include her parents; her sister, Ashley (Sean) Noonan of Bettendorf, IA; brother, Trystan (Sanely) Dell of Chicago; nephew, S.J. Noonan;  her aunts, Elizabeth (Dennis) Cox of Kirkwood, Rose (Mike) Lax of Silvis, IL, and Jamie Linhart of Burlington, IA; her uncles, Ed (Lisa) Cox of Moline, IL and Bill (Becky) Dell of Davenport; several cousins; special friends, Honesty Perez, Rozalynn Courtney and Lily Cozadd.  Jessika’s family would like to thank her very supportive and amazing nursing staff, Toni, Rebecca, Krystal Diamond, Marge and Janelle.  A special thank you also goes out to Jessika’s doctor at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Dr. Colin Franz.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Justin P. Dell; maternal grandparents, Barbara & Terry Cox; paternal grandparents, Ernest & Viginia Dell; uncle, Ernest Dell, Jr and cousin, Andrew Dulaney.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL.  Interment will be at Alexis Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Monday, October 27, 2025 at the funeral home.  Memorials may be given to the Jessika J.
